Application

When the sample is a t-shirt then it has lower GSM which makes it more comfortable and wear in any season. If fabric is denim then its higher GSM that makes it heavy weight and tear and wear easily. When the fabric of tents, and outdoor fabric then it’s made more durable and survives in the rain, wind, and other climatic conditions, these fabrics have a higher GSM. Silk is delicate due to its softness and smooth texture. This fabric calculation of GSM is lighter than the fabric.

Process

Collect the sample and this sample should be in bulk and conditioning these fabrics through experienced workers. The sample should be flat wrinkles and creases not present in the fabric. Within a diameter of 11.2 cm through a GSM cutter machine. Weight the fabric measure and length and width 11.2 cm. Then it is easy to calculate the GSM of fabric Oz/yard2.
